'An explosion of colour, creativity and fearless self-expression. Illamasqua’s spirited new collection celebrates the diverse ways of expressing our individuality by being bright, bold and fearless while conjuring feelings of fun, freedom and unity.'
Here is a quick haul of some of the products I received from the new Illamasqua Hypnotica Collection!
Sketch Sticks - Free / Trance / Fly
Multi use high pigmentation crayons.
So far I've used these as an eyeliner (waterline), an eyeshadow base and a blush and they work lovely. They have a lot of staying power so make sure you have a good makeup remover handy.
Comes with latex-free glue.
Slick Stick - Dream
Waterproof, nude brown, creamy lip crayon.
This colour doesn't really work for me. It makes me look like I've smeared chocolate all over my mouth so I won't be using it as a lipstick. BUT... It's perfect for creating natural looking freckles that don't fade, due to its waterproof formula, so I'll still get plenty of use out of it.
Lava Lips - Activist
Marbled lipstick with carefully matched colours that blend together to create a deep purple.
This product was so beautiful that I never wanted to use it and ruin it. Excuse my horribly chapped lips in the swatch but look how gorgeous the colour is! Worth it. I think you definitely need to wear a liner or use a brush to get crisp edges since sometimes it can apply patchy until you go over the same area a couple of times to blend the colours.
There are a few other shades of the Sketch Sticks and a Lip Lure that I don't have to show you guys, so you can check those out and everything shown above, here.
