During June the double wing made a comeback for me. My eyes are relatively hooded, so often when I do makeup on my upper lid it can get lost the second I stop raising my eyebrows. So recently I've been paying far more attention to details underneath the eye instead and I've been having lots of fun with it!

I've been wearing a lot of Beyond products recently, ever since Britta over at Koja Beauty sent me a box of skincare and makeup goodies. What I was most excited about was trying my first ever cushion foundation and I quickly fell in love. (You can hear me talk about it a little bit more in my Product Play video, if you're interested!)

My eye makeup actually uses the same shades I showed last month, but they're applied in a slightly different way. I've still been enjoying the smokey outer corners underneath the eye, but I've been turning it into a second wing whenever I've had the time to mix it up a bit. I actually started doing this again because of my friend Marzia. She often wears a delicate looking, soft wing underneath her eye so I felt inspired to start wearing my makeup like that too. Naturally mine turned out being a darker grungier version, which shouldn't surprise anyone!
Ughhh. This lipstick is too much for me to handle. These two tone lipstick-balm hybrids by Beyond are fantastic. You can definitely expect to see these in my June Favourites video next week! They're so light but feel very moisturising and have a good amount of colour which leaves a slight stain on the lips even after a decent length of wear.
Have you tried anything new recently? :)
